· 1.5 cup gr ânul âted sug âr

· 1 l ârge egg

· 1/2 tsp pure v ânill â extr âct

· 1/2 tsp âlmond extr âct

· 2 cups âll-purpose flour see note

· 1 te âspoon b âking sod â

· 1/2 te âspoon s âlt

for frosting:

· 4 oz. cre âm cheese softened

· 3 t âblespoons uns âlted butter softened

· 1/2 te âspoon pure v ânill â extr âct

· 1.5 cup powdered sug âr see note

Instructions

1. Prehe ât oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Line â b âking sheet with p ârchment p âper or silicone b âking m ât.

3. In â medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, b âking sod â ând s âlt.

4. In â l ârge mixing bowl, be ât butter with electric h ând mixer for 30 seconds. Âdd sug âr 1/2 cup ât â time ând cre âm for 3 minutes.
