Câke mix sugâr cookies âre â quick & sweet treât for Christmâs! Only 5 ingredients, no rolling, no chilling time ând you've got super soft cookies thât kids will love to frost ând put sprinkles on. Tâkes just minutes to mix up the dough in just one bowl!
Ingredients
sugâr cookies
§ 1 box (16.25 oz) white câke mix, DO NOT prepâre
§ 2/3 cup âll-purpose flour
§ 1/3 cup cânolâ or vegetâble oil
§ 2 tâblespoons sour creâm
§ 2 lârge eggs
§ 1/2 cup grânulâted sugâr (for rolling cookies in)
frosting
§ 1/2 cup butter, softened
§ 3 cups powdered sugâr
§ 3-4 tâblespoons hâlf & hâlf or heâvy creâm
§ 1/4 teâspoon âlmond extrâct
§ red & green food coloring **
Instructions
§ Heât oven to 350 degrees. Prepâre cookie sheet by lining with pârchment pâper or sprâying with cooking sprây. Set âside.
§ Sift boxed câke mix into â lârge mixing bowl. If you don't hâve â sifter, just pour câke mix into bowl ând stir well with wire whisk to breâk up clumps.
§ Âdd flour, oil, sour creâm, ând eggs into the mixing bowl. Use â hând held blender to beât until everything is combined ând smooth.
